Tour the Ranch.  Hike, ride bikes, swim, see our wildflowers (over 100 different species), expand your bird list (dozens of species present), observe wildlife (bobcats, fox, deer, quail, turkey, javelina), and participate in our archaeological site tours. Mike is a certified master naturalist and conducts tours of Native American sites including rock shelters with grain grinding mortars and rock art, and rock oven midden mounds where Native Americans prepared roots, grains and meats, camped and monitored buffalo movements thousands of years ago. He will also show you more recently constructed structures that have supported ranching activities for more than one hundred years.

Family & Friends.
Enjoy our family-friendly atmosphere.  Twistflower Ranch is owned and operated by Mike, Donna, and their sons.  Our business model and logistics provide the opportunity for you to connect with old friends or have small family gatherings.

Enjoy our Uniqueness.  Star gaze into a night sky dominated by the Milky Way and like you have never seen before (no urban lights within 90 miles of the ranch). Our diverse habitats include our Riparian Zone Preserve creek bottoms, plateau tops, and deep canyons with over three hundred feet of elevation difference on the ranch. One of our canyons has a grove of ancient ashe juniper trees that are hundreds of years old and among the largest in the state.

Practice Yoga.  Donna is a certified viniyoga™ yoga instructor with extensive training covering asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), meditation, and yoga philosophy.  She is available for group classes as well as one-on-one sessions.  Donna has studied the application of yoga principles for structural conditions, chronic disease, and emotional health.  As a certified viniyoga™ therapist, Donna will develop a take-home sequence to match your individual needs for dealing with pain, stress, and discomfort.
